Empowering our refugee communities to reach their full potential.
Established in 2019, we celebrate the legacy of Dr. Massoum Montakhab: mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, scientist, mentor, and visionary.
The Dr. Montakhab Foundation Scholarship is awarded annually to qualifying candidates. To be eligible, a candidate must be enrolled full time at an accredited university or college where they are pursuing a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). Candidates must also be refugees.
Refugee Status: Any person forced to flee their country because of violence or persecution meets our definition of a refugee, regardless of current legal status.
How to Qualify: Candidates who meet our requirements are invited to apply for aid by filling out a short application form and composing a brief (700 word) essay.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals by funding scholarships for women, refugees, and scientists.
Applications will not be accepted through this contact form. To apply for our scholarships, please see the section above. Please do not include any personally identifying information beyond your name and email in this message.
